Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and highly organised Administrative Assistant to join our team.
This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with strong office experience (Experience in an accountancy practice is not essential) and proficient computer skills to support daily operations and ensure the smooth functioning of our organisation.
The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining efficient administrative processes, providing exceptional support to staff and clients alike.
Responsibilities:
- Manage incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries appropriately
- Handle general administrative duties including photocopying, scanning, and mailing documents
- Ensure the office environment remains tidy and organised at all times
- Accounts admin, such as asking clients for books and records for their accounts to be prepared, filing of statutory documents with Companies House (full training will be given in this)
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Proven office experience with a strong understanding of administrative procedures
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) (in house training provided for all other software used)
- Strong typing skills with high accuracy for data entry tasks
- Good telephone etiquette and professional communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £25,500.00-£29,000.00 per year
Expected hours: No less than 25 per week
