Job Description:

Mode Economics is seeking a talented Analyst/Economist to join their team in London. As a Analyst/Economist, you will work on client-facing projects, combining quantitative investigation and qualitative narrative development to help clients make the case for proactive adaptation to climate change risk.

Responsibilities:

• Work on client-facing projects, involving quantitative investigation and qualitative narrative development
• Build quantitative models and tools, and conduct econometric analyses
• Develop and present findings to clients, translating complex data into actionable insights
• Collaborate with team members on projects, gaining experience in different topics and skills

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in economics, environmental economics, or related discipline from a world-class institution
• OR undergraduate degree in economics or related discipline with 2+ years relevant work experience
• Excellent quantitative skillset and aptitude for problem-solving
• Strong communication skills, with ability to translate findings into actionable insights
• Advanced coding capabilities (R, Python, etc.) is a plus
• Previous work experience in research, consulting, or similar analytical, client-facing roles is advantageous but not necessary
