Summary
The Data Entry Administrator is responsible for accurately entering, maintaining, and managing data in company systems, primarily using Excel and other spreadsheet or database tools. This role ensures data integrity, supports project teams, and contributes to the smooth operation of business processes.
Responsibilities:
- Enter, update, and maintain data in Excel spreadsheets, databases, or other company systems.
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of data entries.
- Validate, clean, and standardise data before submission or reporting.
- Organise, file, and maintain electronic and paper records systematically.
- Assist project teams with data-related tasks and reporting requirements.
- Monitor deadlines and complete data entry tasks in a timely manner.
- Identify errors or inconsistencies and escalate as appropriate.
- Support other administrative and operational duties as required.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in data entry, administration or similar role
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office such as Excel and Word
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail for data verification
- Strong problem-solving skills for data discrepancies
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills and a can-do attitude
- A team player who’s eager to help others and ensure the project’s success
- Determination and persistence
- Good planning and diary management
- Work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Shares information and ideas
- Experience in the Wastewater Industry advantageous
