Job Description:


Techwaka is looking for a highly organized and experienced Office Manager to oversee daily operations of our office in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in office management. You’ll work with minimal supervision to ensure efficient office operations and support our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and manage office staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance
  • Oversee administrative tasks like filing, data entry, and record keeping
  • Coordinate office activities and schedules to ensure smooth operations
  • Manage office supplies and inventory, ordering as needed
  • Handle incoming calls and emails, providing excellent phone etiquette and customer service
  • Assist with HR functions like onboarding new employees and maintaining employee records
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Utilize QuickBooks or similar software for financial record keeping and reporting

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in office management or related role
  • Strong administrative skills with proficiency in clerical tasks
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • Experience in supervising staff and managing teams
  • Proficiency in QuickBooks or similar accounting software is a plus
